Proverbs 3:14- For the merchandise of it is better than the merchandise of silver, and the gain thereof than fine gold.

In speaking of wisdom we see her value. There has been a lot of talk in the world lately of gold and silver. We have seen their prices skyrocket. We then saw them come down a bit. While the prices of gold and silver fluctuate, the value of God's wisdom remains the same. Therefore it is better. It has and always will remain higher than that of gold and silver. It also gets you a lot more; in other words you get more bang for your buck. While gold and silver can only purchase material goods, the wisdom of God stretches much further. It teaches us how to live life, have good relationships, keep a good attitude, grow closer to God, keep our finances straight, make day to day decisions, and so much more. There is great gain to be found in the wisdom of God, seek it out friends, it's more precious than fine gold.
