Proverbs 1:31- Therefore shall they eat of the fruit of their own way, and be filled with their own devices.

Referring to those that would rebel against the wisdom of God, there is something certain that will happen to them. They shall eat of the fruit of their own way. We are told in the scripture that we will reap what we sow (Gal 6:8). If we sow to the things of the flesh, that is what we will gain. If we sow to the things of the Spirit, that is what we will gain. The folks mentioned in this verse have been sowing to the flesh, doing things their own way. They will be filled but not of that which is profitable. May we never think that we are past this in our walk with Christ. We too can start to fill ourselves up with the things of this world. May we walk with the Lord this day and sow to the things of the Spirit and may God bless the harvest. Bless us Lord to bring forth good fruit!.
