Proverbs 2:20- That thou mayest walk in the way of good men, and keep the paths of the righteous.

Ah this verse is more uplifting than the last. Avoiding the wickedness of the world will lead to better paths. Avoiding sin opens up opportunity. The opportunity here is to walk in the ways of good men. Certainly Christ blazed the trail. He taught us what the straight and narrow path looks like. This is the path we should seek. He showed this path to the Apostles, who then placed it in the hands of faithful men, who then taught it to their congregations; and yes, we have it today! I cannot help but think about the importance of the church. This is where we will find those good men that keep the paths of righteousness. This is where we will find good examples. When we observe, we are then to do, and pass it down to the next generation. This is how Christ intended it to be. So then, may we always look forward to gathering in the house of God and observing the Godly behavior of the saints.
