Proverbs 3:5- Trust in the LORD with all thine heart; and lean not unto thine own understanding.

Perhaps one of the hardest commands for us to keep in the scriptures. Trust is a hard thing to come by these days. We know there are certain things/people that are not to be trusted. Yet when it comes to the Lord we are to wholly trust him. Yes it's hard but yet it can bring our lives great peace if we do it. Trust his word, trust what it says, trust Christ. In a world of scepticism, we know there is one we can fully trust!

We are to do it with all our hearts, not just a portion. We are to take our own understanding, instincts, and hutches and toss them out. We must first think about all situations; what does the Lord think of this? In order to know what God thinks, we must read and pray/ pray and read. The more we read and pray, the more we will trust. When we let go of what we think to be understanding and fully rely on God instead, this is a magnificent place to be. It may be hard to get to this point but it is well worth it.
