Proverbs 3:17- Her ways are pleasant and her paths are peace.

We will not find a negative thing spoken of God's wisdom. The ways of God's wisdom are pleasant. What a relief they can be in this world. Have you ever seen somebody that finds themself in a tough situation? And then, due to their lack of wisdom, make that bad situation worse? You can observe things becoming more and more unpleasant. Now if we have this Godly wisdom, it will help us in those trying times. It will bring a pleasantness to our lives in trying times when things seem to be going ok. Sometimes when things are going ok, is when we can get ourselves into trouble. The flesh tells us that these times are "boring", and we can find ourselves seeking ungodly thrills. Just be reminded that pleasantness may not always be exciting but it brings peace. Thrill seeking does not bring peace. God's wisdom does not teach us to be thrill seekers. With that being said, I think that you will find in serving the Lord that he will also bring great fulfillment to your lives. There is a lot to do in the name of the Lord and if you are active in doing his will, I would call that anything but dull. And when you are done doing his will, at the end of the day you will experience peace, rather than regret.
