Proverbs 1:24-26- Because I have called, and ye refused; I have stretched out my hand, and no man regarded; But ye heave set at nought all my counsel, and would none of my reproof: I also will laugh at your calamity; I will mock when your fear cometh; When your fear cometh as desolation, and your destruction cometh as a whirlwind; when distress and anguish cometh upon you.

When wisdom calls, wisdom expects that we receive the call. If we knock down the stretched out hands of this great gift, if we disregard, if we neglect her counsel and reproof, when calamity comes, wisdom will laugh at it. Wisdom will say unto us, "I told you so". Yes, when we neglect the wisdom of God, we will find ourselves in fearful situations. If we neglect the wisdom of God, we will find that it will bring destruction upon our lives. It is not a matter of if but when. Anguish will come upon us. So then to reinforce yesterday's message, this is why it is so important to savour the things of God and not the things of men. My friends, seek out Christ this week! Follow his lead! Follow after the wisdom of God.
