Proverbs 3:27- Withhold not good from them to whom it is due, when it is in the power of thine hand to do it.

What a fitting verse to go with Sunday's message of doing what you can. It is a good thing to do good and when we have the opportunity to do good we should do good. To whom is it due? As the Bible says, let us do good unto all men (Gal 6:10). For Christ never withheld good. He poured out his goodness toward men. He had the power to do it and did so. He is our great example. Yet the flesh would fight us on this. The flesh would make us consider what it would cost us in time, money, and energy. May we put those things aside and if we have a willing mind and the ability, do some good!
