"Sticks and stones may brake my bones but names will never hurt me".
We all know that that is not true. Words and names are important. If our name is important to us, imagine how important God's names are to Him. In John 1:1 "In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God and the Word was God". You'll see Word (capital "W") in John 1:14 and in 1 John 1:1 and 5:7.
Some Bible translations and some religious writers now us "W" when referring to the Bible. I'm sure their intentions are honorable but doing the wrong thing for the right reason is still the wrong thing. The Bible is not Jesus Christ. Let's not demean or confuse the capital "W" Word that died for our sins with the "w" word that speaks of His sacrifice.
