Acts 3:19- Repent ye therefore, and be converted, that your sins be blotted out, when the times of refreshing shall come from the presence of the Lord;

We all need spiritual refreshing from often. This world can be very distracting and discouraging. We need the Lord to fall on us often to continue in our spiritual journey. Notice the steps in order to receive this refreshment. First, repent. Yes, in order to feel the Lord Jesus in a mighty way, it starts with repentance. Turning from our sin and turning unto him. Second, be converted. Conversion is something that takes place multiple times in our life. It's a renewal, a warming up if you will to the things of God. After these things take place there is a blotting out of our sins. Not for eternity for this removal of sins took place on the cross. This blotting out takes place here in order for us to feel the presence of Jesus when he comes to visit us. When we repent and are converted, when the presence of the Lord comes, we are able to be refreshed by it. If we have not repented and are cold to the things of God, we will miss the presence of the Lord and remain spiritually cold. I pray we will be ready for his coming daily into our lives and his second coming if we remain.
