Isaiah 43:1-2- But now thus saith the LORD that created thee, O Jacob, and he that formed thee, O Israel, Fear not: for I have redeemed thee, I have called thee by thy name; thou art mine. When thou passest through the waters, I will be with thee; and through the rivers, they shall not overflow thee: when thou walkest through the fire, thou shalt not be burned; neither shall the flame kindle upon thee.

There are certainly many blessings to be had as a chosen child of God. He has created us, formed us, and redeemed us. Since this is the case we are to fear not. Keep walking, keep going, keep striving forward. No matter what comes your way today, take comfort in knowing that he is with you. Whether it's a flowing river that's in your way or a flaming fire; the Lord has the power to get you through both dangers. He reminds us here that we are his. Thankful to know that we rest in his hands this day and all the days to come. May these words help you finish the work week strong and look forward to our day of rest on Sunday.
